2004 World Championship in Riccione

I just heard that since the organizers are having a hard time sending out all the confirmations on time (still haven't gotten mine...) they will be posted on the website. I presume this means the FINA website, but I'm not sure. See y'all soon! Mary

Yes, 2 pools will be used, both 50m pools, one outdoor (tried and true) and one brand new indoor pool. Apparently men and women will alternate pools day by day. I think there will be 2 25m pools available for warm up.

Positive participation also from Brazil. Around 60 swimmers going to Riccione. Confirmations started to arrive on the 19th. Mailed May 12. I will be there for the 50, 100 and 200 free. I would like to see the the complete program before flying to Italy. Any one knows if they are going to add it to the Championship site???

I hear the psyche sheet should be available on line either Monday the 24th or Tuesday the 25th. If I see it (given the time difference I'm ahead of y'all...) I'll put a link in this discussion. Here in Italy whoever finds the psyche sheet first wins a beer! Mary

FYI: Two swimmers from Mountain View Masters in California. Karla Rees Laura Colette Hope some UK swimmers are bringing extra Union Jack swim caps, I'd like to get one. How about that weather forecast....lucikly most of my events are indoors, but still waiting to see what heats I'm in.....see everyone next week....be on the look for two short (single) swimmers one blonde one not. Italian FIN Site Here are some numbers: 8128 atleti iscritti 8128 athletes registered (includes synchro and waterpolo) 6349 alle gare di nuoto 6349 in swim competitions in pool 1089 alle gare di fondo (3 km) 1089 in the 3KM sea swim I'll be hanging out at my team's gazebo, Nuoto Club Firenze... See ya there!
