at my local health club, and won!
i just want to thank all of you who had this battle in the past--it was all of the advice that I read that helped this problem to be solved.
ah, cool, quick water. what's better than that?
:D
and is hot again. sure, I find this quite discouraging, and i'm thinking of not going there to swim anymore...and perhaps joining the Y for the summer where I could do outdoor short course and long course during lap swim only times...
still considering it.
Shaky, I don't blame you for riding your bike now...I have really fallen in love with my bike, and find that swimming has become the most pain in the *** thing to do of all 3 disciplinces (swim, bike, run). Oh well, though. perhaps getting outside will brighten it up a bit.

Our Y pool caters to kids and the elderly. I say. build a small extremely warm pool for the twinges and hinges folks so they can stand and stretch and get the kids used to cold(er) water. They can go home and take a warm bath but don't put me in bath temp to swim laps. We've fought with our Y for 20 years!
