Come on Connie, dream a little. I don't play the lottery, but I can dream:D I know I would not be working 12 hour days, and I would swim 99% more. I probably would not biuld my own pool, but I would have a basement with all the weights I like. I would also hire a college coed who knows core body exercises. I would love to be in swimming shape again, there is a minute flat *** hidden inside me. If I can do a 12.6 -25, should be able to do 59.9 right, except for old age:mad: I guess I am dreaming again!

I dream a lot... ;) One of my close friends just got mad at me because of having my head in fantasyland! Hey, I'm a late blooming top-tenner just waiting to be chiseled out by my coaches masterful hands ... I mean workouts! :D I'm lucky, don't have to work but half a week or so, so the rest of the time, I either swim, or volunteer for the team. I think I'm hooked. Oh, and if you recognize me at Cal Tech sunday, and I still haven't come over to say hello, will you please trip me up and smack me upside the head ;) Sometimes it takes that much for me to start paying attention! :D As for the old age, that happens after 90 or so. I'm sorry, in my book, you don't qualify! Okay ... if I won 100+ milion, I would donate 10 milion to my coach and the swim team - it's no fun to have your own pool and be all by yourself. Okay, now I *am* dreaming! I'm bad, if I had that kind of money, I'd end up giving most of it away.

Awwww, maybe this late bloomer would hire a coach instead of training by herself. I would definately get a decent indoor 50 meter facility built(guess it would have to be a mega-bucks win!). I would travel so that might get in the way of swimming, but I could swim where I traveled. I would get my husband an instructor and convince him chlorinated water is a good thing!! Would I swim more, probably not, but I would certainly play more!

Whirled Peas I wonder how many whirled peas one could buy with a 100 milion/ Would they fill up a 50 meter pool? If we made a split pea soup, would it fill up a 50 meter pool... and would we swim faster or slower then in guar filled pool? Sorry, I'm having a random attack of sillyness. It's not harmful, although, it might be catchy.

OK, now your getting close to the thread about swimming in jello or whatever the experiment was. I certainly would not want to inhale split pea soup through my nose, ewww. Especially when I have a faulty tear duct and it would come out into my eye! EWWWW.

In that situation I would probably have to go into full-time personal financial management and get involved in more charitable causes, but still have more "free" time than I have now. I have heard that winners of mega-jackpots do not do well for various reasons -- their relationships suffer a change of dynamic, and many of them are not wise about their investments and spending. Still, I wouldn't mind being put to the test. Most people who are good at managing money and investing don't take a lot of interest in playing lotterry. If they were that good with investments, they wouldn't be looking at lottery at the ticket to fortune.
