Looking for a swim meet

Hallo from England, I am an ex (!) college level swimmer who found Masters Swimming in April of this year. My times are coming back to a shade of respectability (30.72 free, 37.65 fly, 40.54 back and 45.53 *** currently, all 50 meter short course, in age group D.) after 2 hours training, one day a week since last April but the resolution is to cut 10% of all these times before August and then a further 5% before the British Masters Championships in October. I have family living in Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma and soon Hesperia (all Ca). Can someone please advise me of links to masters swim clubs in these areas? Ideally, I would like to arrange my holiday/vacation to visit family to coincide with a master’s meet in one of these areas. Any help would be appreciated and I am sure the info is here somewhere but I cannot track it down! I rely on your superior North American minds to assist a simple European!! Many thanks, Paul

Hi Paul Here, our team website has some links that would be of help too you: mastersmvnswim.org/links.htm It has the link to SPMA, and we also keep pretty up to date list of meets scheduled in our zone. There are several 4-5 coming up in the SCY season. First one coming up Jan 9 in Las Vegas. http://mastersmvnswim.org/ USMS webpage page titled "Places to swim" should give you a list of clubs that are close to you. Good Luck, and hope to see you at one of the meets.
