  • Rob, Jim, and all off you are staring to sound like Icon about my spelling. I guess I was not using the space between my head which is my brain. Dropping the r was my intention. And Tracy I wasn't thinking about the marines when I wrote that. They do have that don't ask, don't tell though. Jim, go over to the USA Swimming forum and check out some of Tom's postings. You will learn some things about Tom that I never knew, like his name is Wolz, he is a non competitor in the USMS data base, he is good at trash talking while living in a vacuum, that he is a thing that comes from USMS forums where moderation is weaker and swimming knowledge of posters is less. That he shifts the goalposts from swimming data to unrelated parody. Instead of being called a Moose he is being called a Troll. Why does he deserve this admiration and praise? He didn't do the English Channel, but he did do a monster marathon with his 48 posts which help break the record for USA Swimming postings. I don't know if you want to emulate these accomplishments but you can decide that when you read his postings. Make sure you read Coach Walter's 10 phases about Tom and his analysis of the posts.

  • Rob: I guess dropping the c was not my intention. Now I guess you know what Icon I was referring to.

He has been called a troll, preacher, and politican that does not provide swimming data and only makes personal attacks. But we know that is not true. originally posted by Skip Thompson about the moose Sure man whatever you say...LOL!! (j/k now Tom...take it easy now Moose Man!!). BTW, Somebody fill me in on the story of Tom Ellison (through private message if you don't want to embarress the moose too much with the praises of his life and all)....I am just curious now what Tom has done to deserve all the praise and admiration he has received over hear recently (mainly on another thread here though)??.....Did you swim the English Channel ?...and/or some other monster marathon of some kind?......Sounds like you did something big ...maybe many things big in the past??.....Maybe I should be trying to emulate the past accomplishments of the Moose Man now in order to further develop my newly found passion for open water swimming??......But it's Tom though.....You know.....It's hard to envision the Moose in that way....no offense Tom.....but you know what I mean right??...LOL!! Note to Skip – That should have been “She has” not “Her has”. You should be using the pronoun “she” not the adjective “her”. originally posted by Rob You should tag team up with Knelson around here....LOL!!....You can never have to many grammer dudes around to correct us grammatically challenged types!! newmastersswimmer

Jim- it would be worthwhile emulating Tom's sense of humour, determination and grit- you don't want to experience what happened to him 30 years ago.
