PARDON the spelling but i've just got over my first veruka in many years.I'm from uk so i don't know if you call this the same thing "across the pond"if you call it something different then i'd better explain what i'm rattling on about. Its like a blister with a hole in it and you get them on your feet, sorry if you do call it the same thing for me rattling on about its description....so what do masters swimmers do to A)AVOID THEM
B)GET RID OF THEM
C)STOP THEM RETURNING
I used cream(basuka)and a plaster over it seems to have done the trick, took a while to work though.

plantar warts. Plantar is the sole of your foot. They can be frozen off, cut off or they sell a heavy salicylic (sp) acid on a band-aid that you can wear.
By the way-- I believe that they are contagious?
