To all my Masters Swimming Friends: On the 14th of February I will be headed for Kuwait and possibly Iraq sometime after that with the 1st Marine Division. I didn't make it to the last convention to say so long, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to do so and to say that I hope to see you all in San Diego next September. Semper Fi, Rob Whitters

If our civilian leaders conclude that armed conflict is necessary then I hope our military leaders will be allowed prosecute this action without restraints motivated by political concerns, and to finish the job once started. I salute you and your comrads in arms. We owe a great debt of thanks to all who rise to the call of military service, wherever it leads. Kick butt and come home safe.
