I am interested in the fees other organizations charge to be members of their team. I am very interested in YMCA's (YWCA), but would greatly appriecate information from any club...I need lots of data.
Is there a fee to swim at your facility, besides the Masters fee?
What is it?
Is there a fee to swim on the team?

And finally, are your swimmers required to pay their masters registration?

My YMCA team does registration based on the YMCA sessions (about 8 weeks long). We have 2 prices, one for YMCA members and one for non-members. Currently the price is $20 for members and $40 for non-members.
This registration fee entitles a participant to 4 (1 hour long) coached practices a week.
Since we do not have any local YMCA Masters swim meet, we compete in the USMS's Maryland LMSC. During the SCY season we try and swim (as a team) 1 meet a month. Since these are USMS LMSC swim meets we require that the swimmer joins the LMSC (Maryland ~ $30) to compete. Swimmer are not required to compete in the meets but it is encouraged and supported by the team.
