I'd like some feedback - how important are bathing caps for reducing drag?
I have moderately short hair, and I keep that way so I my hair doesn't flop in my eyes while swimming. Recently someone suggested to me that I'd notice a difference if I wore a cap. Problem is, the main difference I felt was about 10 degrees of extra body heat - not to mention my beet red face. I can't make it through a practice wearing a cap. Any comments?

Get a silicone cap. They're like $12-15 but you can put them on even dry very painlessly (meaning without pulling out any hair).
