And that holds true for today, but now the day two results have disappeared!I can't find them either on the website or the meet App. The women's is there. Leslie tells me she can see them though. I'm stumped
On the FINA results site,the men and women are listed separately.If you click on men,the women's events show up with no results and vv on the women's.That confused me all last night trying to get friends results. SplashMe does seem to have lost yesterdays results.
I was told that for the Women's 100 BR the sun was shining on the scoreboard at such an angle as to make the results invisible.This meant one of my friends didn't know her time or place until this morning.
Glenn Gruber is world champion in the 200 free!
Thanks no200fly! It was a sweet victory after just missing a win in the 100 and 800 free.
What fun to meet so many people from all over the world. People are swapping swim caps and tee shirts. This is what I call international relations at it's best!
Way to go Glenn :banana::banana::banana:
Thanks Allen. Funny that I haven't seen you here yet. I'm off till the 400 free on Saturday.
See you in College Park.
After changing browsers (I had a problem posting on USMS using Explorer on my netbook), I'm back on to give a BIG congratulations to KING FROG for winning gold in the 65-69 100 breaststroke! He is also the new FINA World Champion :banana: (best time at a FINA Masters World Championships). :applaud::applaud: :applaud:(Allen, I know I congratulated you by phone, but you deserve a shout out here. Good luck in the 50 today!) :cheerleader:
Steve Unruh, congratulations on beating out my teammate, Mark Beatty, for the gold in 50 fly. I was really hoping Mark would win, but at least the gold went to a Forumite. :)
Another shout-out to Swimosaur for placing 8th in Men's 55-59 200 backstroke. :applaud: I hope I see you around this beehive of activity before the meet is over, so I can congratulate you in person!
Hey, Bobinator, if you see this, it was great meeting you yesterday! Thanks for spotting me outside the Metro station! :D
Steve Unruh, congratulations on beating out my teammate, Mark Beatty, for the gold in 50 fly. I was really hoping Mark would win, but at least the gold went to a Forumite. :)
Steve just won the 100fly too. Another awesome swim.
