Since you are trying to meet every participant, have you met Joy Tsuzuki? I was wondering if this is Ed’s mother.
Have not met her but it is Ed's mother. They are doing a family relay with Ed, Ed's mom, Ed's sister, and one of her kids.
Good luck to all

Rick is having a great meet. He retired a few months ago and maybe now he's got more time to train. Scary!

Congratulations, Fort! And on your HIT swimmer Melinda's achievements (my age group, so I am a bit more sensitive than usual).
(I hope Creme Puff or her familiar also shows up at these things...)
Just a quick note for those at Nationals. There's an airport bus that stops right across the street from the Marriott complex (on Washington Street) that's only $1.75. I had to take a cab in from the airport since I got in so late, but took the bus back yesterday. Be warned that it's just a normal city bus route, so it makes lots of stops, but still it only took about 40 minutes from the hotel to the airport. If you're cheap like me and not pressed for time it's definitely a good option. It's the number 8 bus and just make sure it says "airport." Apparently some of the #8 buses don't go all the way to the airport.
Water Rat just threw down a great 200 free, confirming what readers of his blog know even though he doesn't, he trains for the 200 free.Hey Karl, thanks for the shout out. My first official one!
