I went for a swim in Lake Cayuga in the Finger Lakes of New York. There were so many fish and plants, I felt like I was in some kind of flora and fauna traffic jam! :afraid: I hung on for about 500 yards and then I just couldn't get out of there fast enough. (Maybe I shouldn't have worn goggles!) Thankfully I have been back in the pristine surroundings of my favorite pool. This kind of thing utterly baffles me. People are freaked out by signs that the water isn't poisoned and reassured by lifeless sterility. Doesn't your skin let you know how unhealthful chlorine is? Mine does.
