What others am I missing?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but this is my first season swimming long course....
For all the long course meets I've entered so far, my age has been determined by my age as of December 31, 2012. But for one meet I entered this weekend my age is determined as of Oct, 2012. Since my birthday is in December, that means for some of my meets I'm 44 and some I'm 45.
I just find this weird since for most of the year I was in the higher age group but now I'm back down.. I'm just wondering if there's a standard or is it up to the meet organizers to determine age cut off?
