Olympic Gold Medalists Lochte, Franklin, Schmitt, Grevers and Adrian to Compete in the 2012 AT&T Winter National Championships, Nov. 29-Dec. 1

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –*Top swimmers in the country, including Olympic gold medalists Ryan Lochte (Daytona Beach, Fla.), Missy Franklin (Centennial, Colo.), Allison Schmitt (Canton, Mich.), Matt Grevers (Lake Forest, Ill.) and Nathan Adrian (Bremerton, Wash.), will compete in at the 2012 AT&T Winter National Championships, November 29 – December 1 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.
The three-day meet will be contested in short course yards and is the last major domestic USA Swimming event of the year. The event will be broadcast on NBC as a one-hour special on Sunday, December 2 from 2-3 p.m. ET.
More than 15 members of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Swim Team will compete in Austin. Lochte, Franklin, Schmitt, Grevers and Adrian each earned multiple Olympic medals this summer in London. Each swimmer also took home gold in an individual event. Other Olympic team members include Jessica Hardy (Long Beach, Calif.), Anthony Ervin (Berkeley, Calif.), Lia Neal (New York, N.Y.) and Scott Weltz (San Jose, Calif.).
The meet will also include top Austin-based swimmers such as Ricky Berens, Kathleen Hersey, Jimmy Feigen, and Garrett Weber-Gale.
Preliminary heats will take place each day at 9 a.m. CT with finals beginning each evening at 5 p.m. CT. Five to seven events will be contested daily.
Friday and Saturday arrive early for autograph sessions with some Olympians from 4-5 p.m. Saturday from*3:30- 5p.m. CT Austin based band, The Sweet Nuthin will perform from the diving tower.

I especially liked Celina Li's 200 IM win; she will be even more dangerous in the 400 IM. Cal women are going to benefit greatly over the next four years from her versatility.
Clark "the shark" showed some nice 500 street cred with his 4:18 4th place finish. Eddie's gonna have fun with him.
It's really a shame about Nathan Adrian's finger. After his smoking fast 50 in prelims, I was really looking forward to his swim in the finals and in the 100.
Plus it's just fun to look at him...
I remember reading that he was coaching but I had no idea that he was back in swimming.
