  • Local boy movin' on up into a stacked final. He also made the B Final in the 100 fly. Sweet. Nice swimming! You don't see a lot of high schoolers making the A final in the men's events.
  • Nice swimming! You don't see a lot of high schoolers making the A final in the men's events.Yes, it seems the young and (relatively) old are doing very well at this meet so far. Maybe those in the running for London are training through the meet? Although, I did see that great 50 from Nathan Adrian.
  • Yes, it seems the young and (relatively) old are doing very well at this meet so far. Maybe those in the running for London are training through the meet? Although, I did see that great 50 from Nathan Adrian. Yeah. In his post-race interview, Lochte mentioned being in heavy training and being unshaven to go along with racing in a lycra brief. Three reasons why the WR holder finished 6th...
  • This is going to be a big swimming weekend, with some big Masters meets and some college meets to go along with Winter Nationals. SPMA psych sheets are up: www.swimphone.com/.../event_order.cfm SPMA live video! takeitlive.tv/.../
  • Watching nationals live at usaswimming.org BTW. about half the men in the 100 fly finals were wearing the high waisted suit.
  • Nice 200 Free final by the women. Missy Franklin almost came back to win it! 1:56 something for the top 2 ladies. :applaud:

This meet's timing is strange. How seriously are the elite/National Team members taking it vs. the Duel in the Pool in two weeks time? Last year's SCM meet was seriously (suits) fast.
