The host can ask the Championship Committee to change the event order if they have a good reason; for example, I think Mission Viejo is doing this. It's sad (since I'm an ex officio member of the committee) but I don't remember if Indy has done this. The meeting minutes should have that info.
Any idea why the 1000 is always before the 1650? I'd like to see that alternated.
And, yes, that is an official distance-swimmer whine, book it!
