Does anyone know if short course converted times are valid for qualification purposes? From the meet information, it seems like there's not an issue unless you don't actually swim a qualifying time at Worlds. But I'm not sure about proving a qualified time and I didn't see anything about being able to swim a certain number of events without qualfiying times (like USMS Nationals).
I sent an email to their general Info address about a week ago but haven't gotten a reply so thought I would address this forum.
You can use short course converted times to enter Worlds as long as the times are not slower than the qualifying times. It would too much time for the host to check to see if valid times have been entered. Therefore, they just don't list your time in the results if it is slower than the qualifying time.
