OK, it may be over a year away but why not start a thread on 2011 Short Course (Spring) Nationals? This meet will be held at the newly-renovated Kino Aquatics Center in Mesa, which is just east of Phoenix. So go ahead and pipe in, I'm sure we will get some good conversation flowing.
What kind of parking will be available at the facility for cars?
Primary parking area will be the athletic fields to the west of the facility, there are also spaces in the school parking lot and with the exception of Sunday the church parking lot to the north.
I know the usual caveat is that men and women may be seeded together in the 1000 and 1650 free events. However, assuming men and women are seeded separately will men be in one end of the pool and women in the other, or will the men's events precede the women's?
I'm trying to determine how early I need to get into Phoenix Thursday to make sure I'll make it to my heat of the 1650. I'd prefer to fly in Thursday a.m. rather than Wednesday.
Assuming men and women are seeded separately, the men will swim the 1650 (odd heats in one course and even heats in the other course) first. Then the women will swim the 1650.
I have a quick question. My wife, a non swimmer, will be coming with me to Mesa. I already entered the meet, but I would like to get her a gold medal sponsorship, especially since Chik-Fil-A is going to be there! How do I go about ordering another one?
Thanks
