Phoenix New Times online edition is a great source for Valley of the Sun eating, entertainment and events (www.phoenixnewtimes.com/). Hiking fans sticking around after the meet have multiple places to choose from in greater metro area and the local paper's online edition is a great source for hikes (www.azcentral.com/.../).

Free beer by the way will be Shiner Bock donated by PWB!! I was going to make a joke about us just sending our "B" team down, but since both Par and Pelle were there, I can't... My freshman year was when we started our streak of losing dual meets to 'furd (probably now at 28 years and counting). By the time I was a senior, both Par and Pelle let us know that they used to send the "B" team to the Farm.:bitching: I don't care who provides the beer, if it's free.:chug:

The 2011 U.S. Masters Swimming Spring National Championship will be held at the new state of the art Kino Jr. High Aquatics Complex in Mesa, AZ. The order of events for the meet are available now. Full details of the meet will be available here in January and in the January/February issue of SWIMMER magazine. Yes, yes...I know January isn't yet halfway over, but anyone know any more info as to when the meet info/entries may be available? Thank you. :bow:
