The missing half-hour is present after each days' 400 is over. That is going to be more crowded than the hour at the start.
As I said in another thread, we're approaching 10+ hours at the pool as is. I know another half-hour doesn't really make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, but until you run a meet yourself, you won't understand how much of a difference this really does make.
