  • Great, the men's 500 is on Sunday again. :frustrated: Kirk, I was going to rant about that, but I figured I'd see if someone else pointed it out. Check out the rulebook, dude, we're getting royally F'd! Rant: Since I have been doing USMS Nationals' in 2004, only once have men swum before women, in 2005 at Ft. Lauderdale, where the 500 was the very first event of the meet (i consider 1000/1650 as their own meet ;) ):). 2005 & Worlds LCM both had m&w on the same day, and worlds was the last event of the swim meet. In the '07 rulebook, men get the 4/500 on the last day of the meet 7 out of the 10 nationals' listed. INCREDIBLE! Two of those are LCM. Also, women seem to always get their mid-distance event on a Saturday, except for these three afformentioned meets. Kirk, we're going to have to wait to 2008 LCM to not have to swim on the last day. And after that, until 2010 SCY. :frustrated::frustrated::frustrated::frustrated:
