Question, YMCA Nationals

I have a question. Some of my teammates and I were a little askew as to the eligibility of attending the YMCA national meet. What does one have to do/be to qualify for Nationals? Thanks for helping clear this up! Steph

  • Hi Stephanie, The way the rules are for YMCA's is that the only qualifier is that you must be a member with full prevliages for 90 days prior to the competition. That is how one qualifies. Unlike USMS which does have NQT's if you choose to swim more than 3 events at Nationals. Hope to see a strong showing from the Pittsburgh area in Indy.
