I am interested in what the time standards are for short course nationals. Where would I find this information? I don't think anyone on my team has ever been and I would like to see as many of us as possible qualify in 2004. The other local clubs just say it's a blast and I think it's a great long-term (1.5 years is long when you are my age :p ) goal! Can some one send me in the right direction?
You can go to:
www.usms.org/.../nqt.php
That is the short course NQTs for 2002. I assume that you are in the 19-24 age group as waiting 1.5 years is a long time:cool: I checked the prelim to last years and there is not much of a change; all are pretty close. (If you want the exact time take the National tenth place time for the past three years, total them, divide by 3 and add 10% - If you dont have a tenth place time for all three years, go to the rule book :D . and make friends with a Math major).
Good luck in Indianapolis
