If you have been looking for an opportunity to swim in an open water event AND raise money towards the fight against cancer... Then look no further. Nashville will be hosting their second annual Swim Across America fundraiser this August.
Join us to makes waves in the fight against cancer. Fundraising participants will meet Olympians, swim a half mile or mile in beautiful Old Hickory Lake... And then be treated to some southern hospitality with a picnic that includes all the fixins and music.
Aquatic athletes of all ages are welcome! The swim is not a race, but would be a perfect opportunity for those who are thinking about trying open water. The course is marked with buoys and plenty of kayakers and boats will be there to keep us safe. Create your own team or join one already formed - the more the better!

In order to increase involvement in this awesome event, we would like to announce that if you are interested in swimming (but not in fundraising) that you can still participate by personally donating $50!
This is a great price for an open water swim, tons of food (the local masters team makes all the goodies), a great party, and knowing that you are helping in the fight against cancer!
Please come join us! You can form your own team or join one already started. To find teams, click on "join an existing team" and then type a % in the "team name" box, and then you will be able to select a team to join.
