Drexel meet (Philadelphia, PA)

The flyer and entry form for the meet at Drexel on 13 March is linked on the DVLMSC web site now: www.dvmasters.org/.../Dr...astersMeet.pdf The Drexel pool is not new, but quite nice. It's 5' at each end and 9' in the middle. The pool temperature is typically ca 80 F. The locker rooms are spatious and usually tidy, at least by University locker room standard. The diving well will be open during the entire meet for warm-up/cool-down. The facility is a short walk from 30th street station, so you can come in on SEPTA or Amtrack. (I doubt parking will be much or a problem on Sunday though.) I hope to see lots of you there. Disclaimer: I have not financial interest in the meet, but I work at Drexel and swim there regularly.

  • I would love to participate in the swim meet at Drexel on March 13, since I live nearby, in Cherry Hill, NJ. However, most of our team (Pennypack) does the swim meet at Pennsbury High School which is on March 6. They should have scheduled this meet either for April or May to get more people to sign up for it. There should be a 2 week break in between swim meets. This was something that was voted upon at Delaware Valley Masters. Pam Shepard Marketing Chairperson Delaware Valley Masters Swimming
