Mark Gill did an amazing job hosting the TYR Grand Prix Series. 3 excellent facilities with fast pools.
It has been over a decade that Illinois has hosted a SCM meet. This year we had 2 events. Libertyville and Univ of Chicago. We had a new masters team; the Gray Sharks/Leaning Tower YMCA, that had 17 swimmers at this event and they felt that their first masters meet experience was awesome. Thanks to Mark and all the other masters swimmers.
The Chicago meet the guys and gals swam together. It was most enjoyable.
I am excited for next years series.
Thank you Mark Gill for your support with Masters Swimming and promoting this event.
