What do you do? Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my printouts dry?

I use the "wet and stick method" to paste it onto a kickboard so I can read it easily. The paper can't be used again, but the index cards are reusable many many times.

I don't like doing workouts over and over again, so reusability isn't much of a concern for me.

RE: How to keep my printed workout sheets dry?

If you have workouts you reuse, you can laser-print them up on waterproof paper, which you can get at Amazon and probably Staples or Office Depot (search for weatherproof paper also). I made up a complete workout book on this paper and bring it to the pool with me. People look at me strange with my book half-submerged in the water, but it works. And you can write on it if needed with pencil.

If you're looking for one-time use, then just wet the paper & stick it to the kickboard or side of the pool, then toss it.

This "total immersion" approach is intriguing, as is Chaos's stonecutting approach. Or you could just not get them wet.
Or use pencil.

RE: How to keep my printed workout sheets dry?

ziploc bag

RE: How to keep my printed workout sheets dry?

If you have workouts you reuse, you can laser-print them up on waterproof paper, which you can get at Amazon and probably Staples or Office Depot (search for weatherproof paper also). Print one work out for each practice
Put it on a spare kick board and get it wet
it will stick to it

RE: How to keep my printed workout sheets dry?

Janet Evans uses Tyvek envelopes with pencil because they are water resistant. Piece of copy/computer paper, wet kickboard, stick paper to propped up kickboard. That simple. I write all our workouts and track in Excel. Just print them on a laser printer, cut to size, and take the paper to the pool. Wet it down and stick it on the side of the pool. Ink does not run when wet and I just pitch after the wo. Record of what I did is in Excel. Dry the bag out and re-use.
Also, if you print the workout, it's got to be with a laser printer, the ink jet ink pages run into a big mess. You can dry the laser print workout on a flat surface and re-use.
