You can increase the distance as you gain your endurance and strength, but start with 100 SKIPS which would be 100 of each. For the Swim at both ends start with Freestyle, but later on mix in other strokes to keep it interesting. If 100 SKIPS is too light a start then repeat the set or increase the distance. How ever you play it it will bring all your strokes in to play and give you a little variety and a foundation to build on.:2cents:

Whatever you do just keep swimming!

RE: Back 2 swimming routine

IM order is Fly, Back, ***, Free (as Hoosier said), but I once saw a kid do it Fly, ***, Back, Free and he clobbered the competition... And he wasn't any faster of a swimmer than the rest of the guys. Hmm, maybe we should change the order.
Anyway, if you want to get a full body workout it is important that you practice all the strokes. The variety is good and it keeps your muscles guessing, which is good for getting in shape. Also, dolphin kicking on your back or side is a great way to strengthen your core. Fins are a fun way to work your legs, and they make you really fast. Have fun!

RE: Back 2 swimming routine

Im order....
