It rained the night before so Teal Lake was colder than a spring fed lake (Cedar Beach Lake) had been the previous day.  It still wasn&amp;#39;t that cold, though.
 
I did better than either of the previous times i did this race (by one minute 5 seconds or so).  I&amp;#39;ll be back next year, most likely.
 
Whinge:  Janet Evans was not at the finsih line to shake my hand.  I had to seek her out to get a hand shake.  And no hugs for me, either :(

It really can get cold.   There is no month of the year that Negaunee has not had snow.
 
On the other hand, the first time I swam this, it was warmer and smoother than the university pool in which I usually swim.  It smelled a whole lot better, too.&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
