It was a great event. Well run, well organized, fast swimmers in the elite group and beautiful course. I think its going to be an annual and its worth adding to your &quot;to do&quot; list.

We swam across the entire width of Acapulco Bay--which is a little over the 5K distance. Waist deep water start, beach finish. Close to 40 boats and water safety craft with nearly 500 swimmers in the 5k swim. There was another 300 doing the 1k and 1.5k swims.<div style="clear:both;"></div>

RE: Warm Water in Acapulco, Mexico

Steve, also really great hotel rates for participants....will this happen next year as well?

Ok, next year this might be a good goal....lets see..if I swim 100 every day for the rest of the year, that will get me to..353 x 100 = 35, 300 right?
That should get me ready! Truthfully, what a great way to combine a vacation with just a tad of fitness. Thanks!
