At beach level the waves at the start were the largest I&#39;d ever seen there but my start went without a hitch. The return leg was tough, could not get a decent rhythm lost my drafting pack and then as you neared the cove you could see the whitewater splashing high into the cove which was a bit daunting. But hey that&#39;s why we do it right? for the post swim beer&#39;s and the telling of the tales.
