Are there any regular open water swim groups that swim along Navy Pier? If so where is the start and what time do folks leave. at ohio street beach (by navy pier). starting about at the beach and swimming north (parrallel to the seawall) to a bouy at the jetty is a half mile. so you can get some distance in. the temp is around 63.

It is not necessary to be part of an organized group; ppl swim, tris swim, etc. there throughout the day. For a group, try www.openwaterchicago.com.
 
Masters groups are Chicago Blue Dolphins and, at UIC, Chicago Masters (I would recommend the latter as being likely to be less crowded).&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
