Does anyone know what the water temperature will be? did this event two years ago and I am going to do it again this year. Hit me up on facebook or send me a PM if you want more details. It was pretty warm and clear water the year I did it. It is in a reservoir in the hills and the day they chose was a scorcher so the lake just baked that day. I was wearing a tri suit for some unknown reason and took it off because I was overheating..so I would say it was like low 70s maybe believe it or not..not sure it will be this hot this year, but im planning on doing it with just a rash guard on.
 
Because of the distances there were a lot of triathletes but i saw a TON of swim clubs represented..i.e. lots of high school clubs etc.
