I wish they had that Open Water Weekend again. Such a great opportunity to do more than one race in a weekend, and to see incredible Marathon swimmers do their thing. As I remember, the water was a bit chilly, but clear and lovely otherwise. We camped and that made the weekend even more of an adventure. My husband and son kayaked while we were there, and felt okay in terms of the boat traffic.
