there is a 5k in mashpee (johns pond) on the 20th of june. i don't think the entry is on line yet but i will be sure to post it.

Here's the New England Masters Web site, with a contact person: www.swimnem.org/.../ I'd be interested too, out of curiosity. I've never been there (New Englander); have been to Nantucket, where the undertows on some beaches on the ocean side of the island can be prohibitive. The NEM site identifies organized swimming by town; under MA I recognized Vineyard Haven as on the Vineyard. Here's a beach listing, with modest amount of info: http://www.mvol.com/beaches/
