We have a lake swim planned for 9/14 at 3pm at a place called Twin Lakes http://www.scubapark.net/ , it is really an old gravel pit, and the water level is rather low, but if you cant find an ocean partner to swim with you are more than welcome to join us. We have beginners to Ironmen swimming with us and it is coached and kayak supported. It is approx an 800 yd loop, it is $5 to get in (say you are with the triathlon group in case they want to charge $10) You may also want to post on 2 local tri boards if anyone is interested in joining. Our board will show details of the above swim at www.firsttri.org and you can post for a partner here or you can also post to www.houstonracing.com.
