Here's what I've got so far -

Standard drag/ practice suit - provides zero lift and actually adds drag; not good for 25K; although probably most comfortable; will get the most sun exposure from this suit which

RE: What should I wear to prom? Unfortunately, no. I'll be in Greenville, SC this weekend for the Dixie Zone LCM Championship. Are you doing the 5K?

RE: What should I wear to prom? Comfort and reliability are more important here than a slight speed increase at the cost of possible pain/malfunction. You and your date are going to spend a long time together at the prom. The FSII sounds like you have no reason to suspect it will leave you standing alone, crying.

LOVE how you put that!! My goal: avoid getting "wasted!"

RE: What should I wear to prom? Might not be a bad idea to have a back up date on hand, incase you decide to ditch your first one or get ditched.

Hmmm. . . not thought about that. Good idea. So if it rips or takes off, have a spare date.

When you mention Grant Hackett, is this what you were referring to?
As tempting a look as that is, I'm not promising anything one way or the other.

RE: What should I wear to prom? Take your prospecttive prom-date out at least once before prom to see if he treats you right...

Absolutely!

It's more about feeling good rather than looking good.

Rob, I printed out the entry form. If I can swing it, I will come! Swimming in 2 USA-S meets, 2 masters meets, and 2 OW swims (one 10K and the other the 25K) in 2 months is a bit of a challenge for me. I'm turning into a real :fish2::fish2::fish2:

RE: What should I wear to prom? IF you already have a blueseventy, I’d suggest you try it out at the Georgia State Games open water, July 12th in Lake Peachtree (please forgive my shameless plug) Swimming the 5K, 3K and 1K events would give you a great opportunity to give it a go.

I think the blueseventy is more buoyant than the FSII and this is a factor in long fresh water swims. If you don’t have one, then just come on down with your FSII!
