Due to the overwhelming interest in the solo event, the logistics of the relay have changed. I like the idea of not having to wait around the entire day to swim a leg of the event. I also like that teams can be formed if we don&#39;t have a team to swim with. Just one question though: I think it would be really neat to do a 10K. Just as SwimTotoSwim was asking, I am woundering if we would be able to do more than one leg, or if we would all swim a 5K?<div style="clear:both;"></div>

RE: 25K Relay National Championship - Update

In general, I see how this will be better for the meet organization to have the relays completed by 10am and be able to fully support the 25K solo swimmers.

What about relays with 3-4 people who wanted to do 5K+10K legs, will this still be possible ?

How can you &quot;put&quot; people on relays when they all have to be registered with the same USMS club to be relay at a sanctioned USMS event ? Otherwise, is not this de facto a 25K and 5K event ?

We are hoping to have a full complement of 10 swimmers to do 2 relays, but might need to reconsider our entry under this new format.
