California is getting more attractive by the minute, but not an option this year. I do know I am in the deserts in Arizona, but isn&#39;t there an open water swim anywhere in the state or in the four state area? I see lakes on the map and have visited Lake Havasu (swimable) and the Colorado river (nay, not that swimable) before. A tedious business, but if you look under each state and check for a swimming group or even a meet, there will likely be a contact name, and that person may know what is available locally.
