FINA is Nov to Nov(ish some Dec swims get in and others don't) so your swims may count for next year.One question I have is,since it is Nov to Nov,were some swims done in tech suits.Also,since as I understand it ,some countries are not as strict about that for their local meets are some of the times done in 2010 swum in tech suits? No, can't be right. My 100 fly and 100 back times from Dec. 10-12, 2010 NE Champs are on the 2010 FINA list. Other swimmers' times from NE Champs are likewise on the FINA list. For example, all of Chris Stevenson's times from 2010 NE Champs are on the 2010 FINA list (even his 50s). Some times have just inexplicably been omitted. Moreover, NE Champs times have always been on the FINA list in prior years. Sometimes I feel like a sport that can't keep an accurate record of its times just isn't that serious ... Yes, some times are in tech suits. I know at least the World Games in LCM was before the tech suit ban and the times seem relatively faster than those in SCM.

Thanks Rich. No, I'm aware of that rule. I swam the times at a USMS meet, NE Champs, last December and my times are in the USMS database and on the USMS TT Listing. So it's not a meet director error, though I have had issues in the past with meet directors as well. It has to be a USMS or FINA error. Oddly, all the errors I've detected so far are in the 50s. Doug, I did send an email to Walt Reid, so hopefully he'll get back to me. These are the other omissions I've found to date: Valerie Jenkins (45-49 50 back) Susan Williams (40-44 50 back, 50 fly) Fall W. (40-44 50 back, 50 free, 50 fly, 50 ***) Lisa Dahl (45-49 50 free & 50 fly) Karen Andrus-Hughes (50-54 50 back) Traci Granger (50-54 50 fly) Lisa Bennett (50-54 50 ***) Laura Val (55-59 50 free, 50 back, 50 fly) There are others as well ... though I don't see 50 errors at a quick glance in the younger age groups. I am sending these omissions to Walt as well. No idea how a list can be published with this many errors ... Leslie, Im really sorry to hear about the error that left you off the top of the list. How frustrating. Just one thought. Were your swims done in a masters meet? I know FINA doesn't count swims from USA meets but USMS does. Over the years I've lost more than several world records due to mismanagement by meet directors.
