It's been reviewed by scientists and approved by the USS Sports Science Committee. I'm sure it's changed a little but the booklet is something I always look at when planning a season. Email the Olympic Training camp and simply ask for the booklet. Making science work practically and effectively is the secret that makes consistent improvement in swimming an art. Good luck swimmers and coaches at your drawings. Does anyone know where I can find this chart?

Thanks

There is a full chart at my club team pool, unfortunately it is laminated onto a wall. I'm pretty sure it's exactly what you are looking for. I'll ask the coaches if they have an extra copy I can scan or if they know where I can get a digital copy. As you have pointed out, the links posted thus far are not what you are referencing, even though they are regarding the same topic.

I'll get back to this thread next week.

RE: Usa swimming energy zone chart

The color-coded chart?

That's similar to what my coach uses - the white, pink, red, purple. We hate purple! This is an age group team. White is about 140-150 bpm, pink is 160-170, red is 170-180 and purple is 190-200 bpm.

RE: Usa swimming energy zone chart

I also would like a link to it.

RE: Usa swimming energy zone chart

Thanks for the help but unfortunately that does not have the chart.

RE: Usa swimming energy zone chart

Did a quick Google search and found this: www.teamunify.com/.../Energy Zones in Swimming.pdf
