Also, if you swim with an active team, check with your coach... There may be additional perks and recognitions. on our team, IIRC the team (Coach) orders and pays for your patch, and you are usually presented with it at our annual Christmas Banquet/party - whatever we're having that year...

The shirts are for Pool All-Stars (one per age group) Something new to shoot for, didn't know about the All-Stars thing!

Are the jackets for Pool All Stars or All Americans? For 2010? The shirts are for Pool All-Stars (one per age group)

You can order a top ten patch. All America for pool events mean you were the fastest swimmer in that course for that event in your age group for the year. If you are an All American you'll get a nice letter on USMS letterhead congratulating you on your achievement and also telling you how you can order your All American patch and certificate.

FINIS must have sponsored the All-American Awards for this year. I received this shirt in the mail not too long ago... my first ever :) Ahelee, you are correct. We were thrilled when Finis agreed to sponsor those awards. Thank you, Finis!

wait, you mean they finally got with the times and i don't have to spend more on the wire transfer than the patches themselves?!?!?! :applaud::banana::woot: thanks for the info anna lea! Yes, I forgot to mention that. The credit card thing is new in the last two months. Before that the only way to purchase FINA patches was by wire transfer. My LMSC purchased patches a few years ago for everyone in the LMSC who had earned them. The patches were about $5.00 apiece; they ordered a handful. But the wire transfer fee was something like $40.00!

TOP TEN PATCHES: Top Ten patches are produced and sold by the Lake Erie LMSC. From: www.usms.org/.../t10_patches.php Swimmers who are listed in the official USMS Top Ten listings are eligible for Top Ten patches. To order USMS Top Ten patches, fill out this order form with the following information: Your name, gender, age, year of your Top Ten swim, the course (SCY, SCM or LCM), and the event(s). Please include team name if requesting a patch for a relay Top Ten. One stroke or relay segment comes with each patch. The patch with its accompanying segment costs $7.50. Additional stroke or relay segments cost $1.50 each. Make checks payable to Lake Erie LMSC.
