My name is Denny and I just got on this forum. I live near TN and have been swimming in the TN river all summer. We swam in the river this morning and the temp got up to 70. By the time we put the thermometer in the water we did not want to wait around too long to see what the temp was going to get up to, so when it hit 70 we all just jumped in and started swimming. Not sure what the temp will be on race day, but it is supposed to heat up (air temp) this week, so hopefully it will be tolerable.
