That's almost like wearing your swim cap to bed the night before a meet just so you'll be ready! No joke, I am at work right now, full uniform sitting in my office, and under my uniform, I have my swimsuit on (kindof like Superman), because when my shift is over, I am walking voer to the gym (at 1am) to squeeze in a swim before I go to bed :).

You know you are hooked on swimming when you tend to wear your swimsuit pulled down on your hips, like a firefighter, so just in case you get a chance to squeeze in a swim while you are out and about, you are prepared. Well I finished Lynn Sherr's book, "Swim" (see this post: U.S. Masters Swimming Discussion Forums - View Single Post - You KNOW you're hooked on swimming when... ) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great job, Lynn! :applaud: Not only was there so much interesting swimming history and tidbits; it was written with such delightful humor. At times, she had me :lmao:. Thanks Elaine! I guess $$$ is the reason that I'm not coming to Greensboro. I have plenty of vacation saved up... Well, I understand that! Perhaps we'll finally catch up with each other in Mission Viejo? My family lives in Long Beach and L.A., and, I lived most of my life in San Diego, so my $$$ will definitely go towards a trip out west for 2013 LCM Nats.! :bliss: James? Allen & Carol?? Kirk??? :cheerleader:

I do enjoy going infrognito and racing against breaststrokers, particularly in the 200. I've given a few of them decent chase. If I can keep improving my technique, I might even beat some of them. :applaud: I thought the fact that you used the word infrognito was hilarious relating to breaststroke haha!

1. You open the door to the pool and get that first whiff of chlorine and think to yourself, "I love the smell of chlorine in the morning!" Ehhh I am not sure if I love swimming that much, but I know that I could never live without it. I think that once I get in the pool, though, that is really when I start to race and love swimming.
