Very inspiring but I hope your'e wrong about kicking. I have a disability in my right shoulder and arm as a result of being shot in combat when I was a 19 year old soldier in the IDF. That was a long time ago, during the Yom Kippur War of Oct. 1973. I actually have compensated by developing a very strong kick. I devote at least one third of every session to kicking drills. Recently I have been working particularly on my underwater dolphin. BTW, over the years I have noticed that as a rule, arm injuries are more of a hindrance to fast swimming than leg injuries. So your'e definitely in the right sport.

I'll bet you're really proud of yourself for pointing that out. If you would like I'll send you a couple pennies for your time lost scrolling by this thread. I didn't mean anything bad posting that comment. There were some really good responses in the original thread and it looked like the original poster probably missed those responses as they never replied after posting the question.
