Is Vo3Max one better than Vo2Max? Hopefully yes :) Seriously, it's becoming harder and harder to find names that are available as .com A lot of folks all around the world are purchasing a bunch of domain names in expectation to resell them at much higher costs. Glad to see that none of these guys have thoughts about purchasing vo3max. Since I coach in triathlon, the 3 (instead of 2) has its relevance.

Finally, I found something generic, bilingual, available in .com Vo3Max So this is now our team name.

Illinois state univ from 64 - 68 . We were the Redbirds . They have dropped the swim teams , I was told.

Anecdotally, one of the founding members was a UNC Tarheels fan, so the acronym RAM may be referential to Ramses, the UNC ram mascot. The team used to be the "Raleigh Aquatic Masters", as the surrounding towns grew, the team became the "Raleigh Area Masters". Of course NC State University is here in Raleigh. NCSU is a bitter ACC rival to UNC-Chapel Hill, so only Tarheel fans accept this anecdotal explanation. www.logoshak.com/.../UNC4.gif

I swam in H S for Reavis H S in Burbank Il. We were the RAMS , that brought back a ton of memories.

The best masters swim club name I ever came across was Cochrane Coelacanths. I briefly considered moving to the town of Cochrane just to belong to a team with such a great name.

Ukanathon, isn't that some sort of sport ?:) Hmmm not aware. Although, it sounds kind a cool. In fact, it sounds more like my girlfriend's nickname, Caneton which translates into Duckling. :bump: I think I should simply fire the Croatian athlete. That would solve the issue :)

Our team is called Oregon.Actually ,historically, no one is really sure where the name "Oregon" for the state came from.

Currently committed to a training project that brings some athletes from the UK and from Canada. We are envisioning calling this project "UKAN Triathlon Team". Now, recently a Croatian athlete decided to join in so now I'm screwed :)

So we were all wearing velcro suits and we were stuck to this huge Velcro wall. After a few days, it was getting pretty uncomfortable and smelly up there, I can tell you that much. Finally somebody figured out how to detach himself and encouraged the rest of us to do the same. We've been a team ever since! I'm not sure when it happened exactly, but at some point we stopped calling ourselves "Detached" and starting calling ourselves "Unattached."
