Someone figured out he could use this suit for a marathon. Go figure. I wonder how well it would work for a triathlon? My interpretation is it's a Super Heavy Duty "athletic supporter" used by those Acapulco cliff divers who hit the water at 80 MPH. :bolt: www.acapulco.com/.../poi_quebrada.html D2

Post by Nadine Day on the current status. I admit to not having read this yet. It is 13 pages long, so I probably don't have the time to read it here at work. Besides, the most "technical" I've ever gotten was a pair of Speedo Endurance jammers, so I don't really have a dog in this fight anyway. S

You can still wear this suit for the hour swim. Also, I don't think the FINA Masters Bureau has voted yet, so all hope is not lost...

sadly this suit is now illegal It goes above the belly button I think it's likely to enhance to performance You can still wear it in practice. probably still ok for women and possibly Jim Thornton depending on the outcome of his legal struggles.

I stumbled across this when shopping Swim Outlet and my wife was so horrified I almost felt like I should buy one. But I figured I can wait a little while. She did not know me during my first competitive career in high school, so she is still a little shocked to see me in a normal brief. But when that wears off...
