They usually do not fill up on starts and they fit my face. However my wife has pointed out that they are creating a scar across the bridge of my nose. Any advice?

RE: goggles making a mark on my nose

I have a perma-crease on the bridge of my nose.

I recently switched to Vanquisher goggles (Speedo), and they have a nice little arch in the nose piece.

RE: goggles making a mark on my nose

I have pulled down a few backstroke flags with my "rudder" and have long used a razor or exacto knife to bevel to 90º edge on the moulded bridges for those googles so equipped. The Compy's I favoured in college came pre beveled.

An option is to use part of the headband for the bridge, swedish style, but you will have to periodically snug it down.

RE: goggles making a mark on my nose

Try wrapping the elastic straps around closer to the top of the head, instead of near the back. This pulls the goggles upward and always releives pressure on the bridge for me.

RE: goggles making a mark on my nose

I recently switched to Vanquisher goggles (Speedo), and they have a nice little arch in the nose piece.

I use the Vanquishers too; just want to point out that not all models have the arch. I think it is the "Vanquisher 2.0" that has the arch; the older models do not.

RE: goggles making a mark on my nose

Simply carve that part of the goggles into a mirror image of "iSwim" :D.

Seriously, I also get a mark on my forehead between eyes shortly after swimming, but it goes away after a while. How long does yours stay?

RE: goggles making a mark on my nose

use a bandaid or wrap some athletic tape around the offending plastic bridge

RE: goggles making a mark on my nose

most have different size nose bridges to allow you to solve this .

Seriously, I have always had a mark on my nose from goggles because I've got a big nose. It goes away after a couple hours out of the pool.
