It&amp;#39;s less flexible, less dexterous and weaker than my right side. I have only 30% vision in my left eye and, if there is such a thing, I am more of a right brain person.

Sorry to hear of your problems. Isolation is really a long tortuous thing to do. I was always a &amp;quot;If it hurts don&amp;#39;t do it&amp;quot; person. But found it was a way to train and eliminate the pain by modifying the stroke. I must say the important thing here is Modify the stroke. You must use the right arm but modify your stroke to eliminate the pain.

Here is an article on Isolation training I came accross it when I was in Mexico &lt;a href="http://www.soccerclinics.com/ICAFitnessMembers/6766/with_flash/html/Isolation/IslolationHOME.html"&gt;www.soccerclinics.com/.../IslolationHOME.html&lt;/a&gt; this winter and did find it interestining. It does have links to some very good ideas.

I did have a friend who was legally blind who swam on Relay team and he did his 50s and 100s by stroke counting and he used to touch me out in  the 50  and 100 individual races on occasion.

Work to make the stroke more balanced. Slow it down to work on it, then when you feel that it is better  - speed it up.
