Just caught Phelps in the 200 prelims. He came in 3rd in his heat and his stroke is the same as before--they're only changing it for the 50 and 100. He looked very smooth and wasn't even breathing hard at the end. Universalsports.com is switching back and forth from live swimming and cycling.

I don't get that with Dish Network! :censor:!!!! Somebody You-tube it! I have DISH, and in Boise, we don't get CBS. So my wife and I had to watch all the NCAA games at a bar. I can't imagine I will be able to watch any of these swims without finding them online somewhere.

I wish that Hoff would stay in the 400 IM. But, I think that Elizabeth Biesel can step up and put Rice and Coventry in their place. My lunch money is on Dagny Knutson.

Here's the one I'm thinking of, it's pretty brutal: LCM 4 x 400 free IM RACE@6:30 (first 100 is afap freestyle instead of fly) 6 x 50 fly @45 3 x 400 free IM RACE@6:30 6 x 100 fly/bk @1:30 2 x 400 free IM RACE@6:30 6 x 150 fly/bk/br @2:15 1 x 400 free IM RACE @6:30 6 x 200 IM RACE @3:00 I was thinking of trying it SCY one day when I'm in the mood for a beat down. She does it LCM! Cool, let the brutally in a workout begin. Here is the IM distance set that I saw in Splash Nation that Beisel does: 3 x 400 IM 6 x 50 fly 2 x 400 IM 6 x 100 fly 1 x 400 IM 6 x 200 fly It is somewhat similar. This is just more fly intensive.

I don't have Swimming world but the Splash Nation that you get with your USS ID. I haven't tried it but I plan to. I always thought of Aaron Peirsol as a "just" a backstroker. He's swimming a bunch of other stuff at this meet as well. Just caught Phelps in the 200 prelims. He came in 3rd in his heat Third in his heat? I hope he was just using the 200 as a warmup! edit: just looked at prelim results and he's third overall. I'm sure he just swam fast enough to make sure he made it finals. Also very slow swim for Lochte who didn't even make the big final. Yeah, how about Aaron with a pretty slick 53 mid in the 100 fly. Who knew?

Just read that Katie Hoff is training with Phelps, has ditched the 400 IM and is now weight training! www.washingtonpost.com/.../AR2009051303233.html Yeah, she basically ditched her old coach right after Beijing to be coached under Bowman. She was a victim of the awful idea to have the Trials a few weeks or so before the Olympics. I don't think that it didn't affect the guys, but it wasn't good for Hoff and Kate Ziegler. I wish that Hoff would stay in the 400 IM. But, I think that Elizabeth Biesel can step up and put Rice and Coventry in their place. Go, Biesel. Thanks! I went to USA swimming and saw that...it's channel 251 Comcast here in Chicago. It's all Tivo'd and I can't wait! :applaud:
